Castle of Montánchez

A fortress with Roman roots, restored by the Almohads in the 12th century, it stands more than 1,000 metres above sea level. From its walls, you'll enjoy panoramic views that take in the region and beyond. The climb up to the castle is accessible and perfect for a leisurely stroll, passing the picturesque Municipal Cemetery.

Municipal Cemetery

Jewish Quarter of Canchalejo
